I just scored a case 448 for 150 bucks! Hoping to have some time soon to post some pics. It sure does need work, never heard it run yet. My fingers are crossed! It did come with a 54" blade.

I'll second that motion!

Now if that is your wife or daughter in the picture, I assure you all I looked at was the hat and a tire.

As for your score, it sounds like a heck of a deal. Congrats.

LOL. Thanks for the comments guys! Don't have a daughter and the wife is camera shy so i had to look for some time to that perfect pic!

As for the Case, It'll be a good deal i think when i hear it fire up. I'm so use to the old Kohler's. I have no idea what i'm getting into here!

You already got a great deal, if you think by doin some minor stuff it is gonna run then you got a SUPER deal. I don't know that specific machine very well, but Onans are known to 'bust' rods when run out of oil. BTW one of my best purchases of which I am most fond of is my 446, I paid $250 for it and it has a busted rod, of which if I ever quit buying tractors I am gonna fix...mine was running on one cylinder and I thought it was the cats meow...Wait till that puppy is runnin on both... As for you sounds like you got a very sweet deal...now, my friend...lets see those pics...what year is it?

The pics will come. As far as i can tell it just needs points (which i got with it). As for the year... i'm not real sure yet, i have to decode that. The Case is a whole new ball game for me. I'm use to the Massey's and my jacobson. It'll take me a few days to start getting things in order.

Check compression first, if you have compression on both cyls then change the oil, other wise it is a mute point...

Congrats on the Case. The blade is worth that much. Hope the engine is sound and you get it running easily. As far as the avatar-don't mean to be a spoil sport, but it doesn't belong here in my opinion. Yeah, I may be a bit of a prude but it's nice to be able to have my grandsons enjoy the tractors with me.

Sorry to offend. The pretty picture had to go, staff said thats a no no!! People don't like it. So here's one less racy. I'm just saying i think tractors are just as beautiful as the women we hold near and dear to us young and old. Lets face it, without the women we love and support, this and any hobby would be very lonely. Support your wife like she support's you! :ok:
