When I read the title, I thought....."He better not have got a free Bush Hog"! :smilewink: Nice looking Springfield & looks complete too! What's the gizmo on the front of the engine case? Fuel pump???


Just a few notes

Serial number starts with 60R in bold letters so 60's model??

Daniel I think the piece in the front of the motor is a fuel pump....Clinton motor.

Color of this mower is either bluish green or green......hard to tell at night.....it has about 1/4 inch of dust on it.

Great little tractor! Congrats on the the freebie. About the only thing I get free is directions. (usually just three words). That is the second Springfield to show up in two days. Could there be an epdemic? Glad that someone has it as a treasure now instead of sitting in the corner covered in dust. Good luck on the rebuild. Rick

It would be a 1960 model. Springfield always put the year as the first two digits of the model.
