I think this is a 1254?? or not. Has sleeve hitch and snow blower with it.

I THOUGHT something looked 'wrong' when I looked at the pics, before reading the description.

My best guess is that it's a 1000 since it has the TR-10D in it. Plus the choke and throttle on the steering column.

I didn't see anything like a sleeve hitch though.

LOL, I thought the tiller was a disc and that it was hooked to a sleeve hitch.

Most of the tractor looks like a 1254,with a different dash and steering column and wrong engine? Hmmm not to far from me

Nope...it's a 1000. Note the 'old style' clutch/brake pedal. It just has some 1254 sheet metal on it.

I know you guys are way more experienced in the ID of models,but I'm sticking to my guess that this tractor is "mostly" a 1254 judging from the tins,frame and axles all being the color of a 1254.I think this guy does'nt even know for sure what it is and probably bought it this way.My guess is the battery either exploded or leaked all over the steering and this was the only column he had laying around.I have only seen that woodgrain dash on a few 1254's or 1256's before.I might have to bid on it just to see what it really is

Just over 4.5 hrs to go on the auction and it's at 305.51!

I still think it's a 1000 with 1254 sheet metal.

1. TR-10D engine....1254 would have a TRA-12D

2. SINGLE BELT driving the PTO...1254 would have two belts.

3. Shape of the Clutch/Brake pedal. 1254 would have less of an 'arch'

4. Steering column with choke and throttle.

5. SQUARE BACK snowcaster, which would be the same vintage as a 1000.
