I know :( I'm dying here! at least the worry about him not selling to me or selling to someone else is over! I just can't wait to tear into them.

I know what you mean. I've been there where I thought there was a gentlemen's agreement and they end up selling them to someone else anyway. I understand there are a lot of flakes out there, but when I sell something, I still give the first guy the first chance and then start going down the list. I know how it feels to be anxious! A week is a long time to wait! :firejumper:

Quick update, After removing the parts off the Jacobsen 800 for rajkowski's MM 108, I decided to see if the little tractor would run. I cleaned the carb and the tank, removed the head to check valves and cylinder, everything looked great except the head gasket was blown and the head was warped, so I resurfaced the head and installed new gasket, cleaned points and added gas, It fired right up and ran great, so much for it being just a parts tractor LOL. I am going to use it as a yard tractor but decided it needed a little better paint. So here is the 1st stage I have the 1st coat on and same with the wheels, I put the wheels on to get it out of the shop so i can work on the sheet metal and the plow.PICT1047.JPG PICT1062.JPG PICT1066.JPG

That's about right. A little TLC and you have a runner. Good luck with it, looks good thus far.

Best looking parts tractor that I've ever seen. Sounds like you made a great buy Chris. Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to your updates.

No regrets here! rajowski needs the parts more than me. Plus now with it missing stuff I can do a custom build and not feel guilty that I hacked up a classic machine. The dash tower and grill tower are both in bad shape (cast iron) and they were cracked real bad! So I welded them and made them sturdy again. So it wasn't really a candidate for a full restoration, Plus I am trying to get back to restoring my Ford 100, LOL

Wow that looks great Chris, looks like a set of rusty fenders will be no problem for you to fix! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help! :smilewink: Have you done any
work to the Ford yet?
