Daniel I believe the engine in your G4200 is a Z430. I have two of those tractors. 12 hp.

Well dang if I hadn't been wrong all this time! I thought I saw somewhere it was a 482, but never really needed to know, as she runs so good & only needed oil changes at this point! Thanks Chris, but now I feel kinda stupid, being it's my own tractor & all!

No big deal. Most wouldn't know but I'd hate to see you order parts and have them come for the wrong engine. Either way they are a great little engine. I sure like mine.

I would consider that agreeable as long as your GPS is set to my place!

Today i swapped the oil pan, crank pulley and added a cooling fan to the water pump. I then cut the cross shaft for the hydro pedal and mounted a bushing on the end of it so i had room for the driveshaft. I then made the engine mounts and attached the engine to the frame. I then made a new 2 piece driveshaft.
I plan on mounting the radiator up front on this one. Probably get a smaller fuel tank and relocate the battery so it has good airflow. Tomorrow i might Do the exhaust, mount the fuel filter and start some wiring.

Looking real good so far Frank! Sure sucks that we don't have more time for our projects, but lately you've been making major headway.
