Alright Frank! Looking forward to it. I've not had any time to do anything on my Bush Hog diesel lately, so I'll get my fix through you!

I'll bet this one is going to get done in a hurry if you have a show to take it to. How many horse power?

Is it done yet? :)

Yes the kubota is a Z482. I test fired it today. Ran great! I just ordered a new oil pan, pickup tube, and the driveshaft stuff. The oil pan that came with the engine was too big and would interfere with the mid PTO shaft if i decide to run the mower.

Heres a few teaser pics

What is this Kubota engine sitting in anyway. It appears to be hydrostatic. Never seen a tractor with such a large fuel tank or oil pan though???????

ITs sitting in the HT20. haha Thats the stock fuel tank for the tractor. The engine was from either a heater or reefer unit on a tractor trailer thats why it has the huge oil pan

Man, with the miserly fuel consumption of a Z482, one fill up will last a mowing season! :laughingteeth: Well, not really, but it will last many hours running! My Z482 in my Kubota G4200 goes on & on with a tank of fuel!

Can the oil pan on that engine just be unbolted and replaced with the standard metal pan? Something I've wondered about. I was offered several of these units out of small portable AC units. I'm not sure of the brand but He's very interested knowing if I could find a use for them as they are just in his way. The oil pan was my only concern.
Daniel I believe the engine in your G4200 is a Z430. I have two of those tractors. 12 hp.
