Hello men. I just put new (JD) drive belts on my JD 210 and what a difference! It will snap your neck when it grabs, compaired to the junk aftermarket ones that slipped more and more over a short time.
I noticed the Clutch is very hard to push in the last 2" or so when it is engaging. Is there an Adj for this? I also Adj the brake band and now they work. I wonder if that has somthing to do with the hard Clutch?
But it works great now, just a hard clutch pedal for last 2" when it counts. And when it grabs it grabs! Will the new belts break in a bit and loosen up the clutch pedel in time? Thanks in advance for the help. Ray

Do you have the owners manual? There is some info on adjusting and maintenance in there that might help you. Send me a private message and with your email address and I'll send you a copy.

you will always have adjustments when putting on new belts. over the years the old belts wear and stretch and adjustment were made.
