First I would like to say, :welcome: to the forum harleyd ! I think you will find this a friendly place to visit. As to the value of you tractor I am not sure what it would be worth. Maybe a picture or two might help someone give you an estimate of it's worth.

I was looking at one on Craigslist and was wondering who made them? I think its a typo in the ad, as it says Gambler. broken riding lawn mower

Hi. I've heard on them. In fact I just demolished a Gambles 11hp-3speed for the engine. I got it free. Gambles was a hardware store out here in the west and midwest. It is now True Value. The one I got was given to me by the original owner (1 owner) who bought it here in Emmett, Id. Mine still had tits on the outside edges of the tire treads. I am going to use the engine to repower my JD R70. I need that electric start.

The Gambles Tractor in Don's thread is a Murray built machine. Judging from only the side shot I'd say around a 1978, maybe a little newer. I'm excited to see that photo as the only Murray built gambles I have ever seen was just a small collection of tins on eBay.
