One of the more interesting things happening as Elec-Trak line was fading was that newer smaller , powerful motors were proposed for the mowing deck . The original patent for the Elec-Trak was only good for 14 years and that cloud hung out there . The more I read the more I find background material that has nothing to do with " green is better " but the lament is still there . Anyway , pancakes is one of my favorite topics :D :D

Wheel Horse's last model in 1983 had these I believe but - the QE16 prototype of 73-74 ? apparently had them by FMC Bolens . Too much fun at times .

As for the Wheelhorse electrics www.myelec-traks.com has those pics . I have not had time to confirm what they are , only what they appear to be . The Bolens pics may never surface because they were never offered to the public . My source is so reliable , far be it from me to question.
