OK folks got the unit out today, The first thing I took off was the Hydo. Steering pump ( charge pump) the gear was broke in 4 pieces. Now to find out why?? Do have pics on phone now to get them to load on computer.

Dale, might just be it broke because it wanted to! My BIL Fred had jis John Deere 2020 lose oil pressure last year. Took the oil pump out & the gyrotor busted to heck, but in his case, the broken pieces jammed the shaft & snapped the shaft too!

Dale sometimes stuff just breaks! Late Cub (MTD) used a lot of powdered metal parts,(and so does most everyone else these days) The powdered metal industry in western PA is large. What I am getting at is google your tractor model number and find out if there was a recall do to that gear failure, Seems if my memory is correct there was bad batch of gears set for CC from a semi local plant,It might be worth a shot! Here is the Gerotor of the Cub 3206 I think it is broke in four places.

Seems like one of our sponsers just happen to have the parts that I needed to put the 3206 back up and running, Thanks to the NICE FOLKS at Patton Acres. Now waiting on the mail.
