This is for sale locally in St Louis. I'm not interested but would be willing to help if somebody out there wanted it. I plan on going to Evansville show in June if that helps.

I went to the st louis craigs....did you see the Gilson gear 11 in farm and garden. There is a round fender john deere behind it in the pic

With the engine not getting spark, that kind of scares me..... I remember Alan (MH81) was saying that they used a experimental bosh ignition system on these and most of the NOS ones out there are all obsolete. I do know you can convert them to a K91 ignition system though if need be.

My Versa -matic is the exact model as the one in the listing so Its around 1955-1956

you can convert them. i put a external coil on my j.d 110 works great

I was the first responder on that CL ad. Was supposed to meet the seller today to pick it up, but his father had a change of heart and decided to keep it. Either that, or someone made him a better offer. I mostly wanted it for the attachments, but it could have been a heck of a deal.

Yes, I saw both, I really focus on the Bolens stuff but I do look at all the others just out of curiosity. Theres have been several JD 110 and 111 on there lately.
