Today was a high of 50's and a day off so i started on the fuel tank bracket.
Here is the original tank, i cut the bottem out, it was riddled with pin holes and started wire brushing, was going to solder on a new bottem but the most of the metal is now rust.
I will save the gas level gauge and filler cap for another project.

Here it is for the most part finished and running a vacuum cleaner, time to clean out all the sand from the cars.
Still a few more things to be tidied up and the bracket at least primed.

Then painting, after 4 hours in the sun i bought the painted parts into the house to set up for a while.
While the paint was drying i fiddled with loose ends on the genset, may have to replace the valve covers.

That's really coming together Jesse! Very nice fabrication work on the mount! Sounds like it's pretty healthy too. Who made the engine?
