howdy. I used a google search engine and typed in the number 131.96461 and found a couple of things, it might be about an '84, 32" deck. it might have had a 7hp. tecumseh in it. Is is yellow with a gray frame? I only used 1 search engine. Ya might give that a shot using several different search engines. Good luck!

Most sears had Tecumseh Iron block engines. Can be troublesome and hard to find parts for, specially if the electronic ignition they had. You can put other engines in and be happy with it. Getting right shaft size is most important part. Sears are easy to work on and plenty of parts around. Hardest part is getting linkages and pedal control shafts out to rebuild or paint, an involved process! AND, the steering wheels never come off in one piece, ha!

According to the Sears parts site the engine part number is 752152 but is no longer available from them.
