Greg, that's what I gave her. I couldn't get to town, so hence, "Its he thought that counts"

She already gave it back to me. LOL

Took Teresa to dinner, then to store to buy my Grandson a birthday present as he turns 2 on Thursday. Teresa found some stuff on clearance, so I saved money & she got her own gifts! Not bad! On a sad note, my son & his X were trying to work things out....today that ended and she is gone. Of all days to call it quits!

I know the feeling Daniel my youngest son and his wife of six years split up a couple months ago and it is still hard for him.

I gave and recieved what I always do. Nothing but a "Happy Valentines day Honey"! We both agree that it's a comercial holiday and if you need a certain day to show that you love someone, then you're doing something wrong on the other 364 days.

Worth the trade!

Monday night Mary and I were sitting on the couch watching tv and I asked her if she would like to have her Valentines day gift early. She said yea, so I got up, went to the kitchen, turned around and told her "Happy Valentines Day!" I got a cold stare. So yesterday I went to Hyvee and got her a pot of blooming daffodils, took them to her at work, She liked that. Then after work she brought home ribs and wings from Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner.

Well , I got all three ladies candy, and flowers, and made supper, and a cake for desert , and ontop of all that, fixed a left front flat at the wifes work place so she could get home. What did I get ? Kisses and some much needed under clothes, and a nice easy evening, helped with a few snortes of Hose' Quevo and lime LOL.
