I have never bought any from him before, but from hearing and seeing other people's Bolens decals I would stay away from them, as a lot of the details are incorrect.

I cant make a comment on any of the other makes though....

We bought the decals for the restoration on my 1053 from Maple Hunter and we were happy with the price and decals. It was our first restoration, and as Brian said their decals may not be true to the original. We learned this in later posts. But in their defense, there was a decal that got messed up when George was applying them. We contacted them about buying just that decal rather than the whole set. They sent us that decal free of charge. For that reason I am was very happy with our experience with Maple Hunter. It all comes down to how much you want to spend and how much you want to remain true to the original.

That is why I added my previous post about our decals.Their price is usually better, but the decals may not always be true to the original as we eventually discovered. But being on a budget, we at least got decals on the tractor rather than letting it run around naked. It's a choice the restorer has to make.

I just wanted to add to my post above that I did not mean for my post to sound like all of his decals were bad or incorrect.
I guess since I am so involved in Bolens I usually notice the fine details in something that a regular non Bolens guy would never see.
I guess it all depends on how correct you want to be and how much $$ you want to spend....

I have bought decals for my Allis B-10 and 2 of my Massey 10/12 projects from Maple Hunter and have been well pleased with them. They were reasonably priced, well made and looked very close to the originals. I would recommend them.
