Thanks guys! I am excited about getting these and the opportunity to work on them.

Daniel the one that has the tecumseh has white rims.....I know the front rims and tires are incorrect (I have the originals)....any chance the rears are correct/white?? Any chance they were ever white from the manufacturer? Every picture and brochure I have ever seen they were yellow.

I know the float for the carb on the tecumseh is going to need to be replaced......we got it running and drove it on the trailer....but the float has a hole in it.

the fun begins

No Bush Hog rims were white, but the original rims are identical to most other makes, just paint being the difference. Bush Hog purchased their rims like most all other companies.
A new float for the TEC carb is easily gotten, so no problems there either. If I remember right, this one with the TEC engine was a later model going by the ID plate style. So I'm assuming it has solid state ignition correct? Lucky that it is still making spark. Those are hard to find!
Yes, let the fun begin! :dancingbanana:

Thanks Guys.....just consider me to be a "southern wannabe daniel".......he is the master of these....I am just a student.
But I can not wait to get this cleaned up and bring them to my local tractor show this coming fall......bet I get a few "I did not know bush hog made a garden tractor" comments. :bounce:

Be interested in connecting with others down my way that have these ..........
I wanted to stop by Georges and see his again but I was strapped for time......plus I knew he would have been busy working on the new system and did not want to bother him.
Much thanks to Troy, Craig, and Al........all fellow GT members that without them I would not have them on my trailer.
Now we just need to get a southern GT tractor show going so we have a place to show off our finds and restorations......

One is from Troy the other is from another guy (thanks to nyredneck)

Keep in mind I also have the D4-7 off eBay that will be delivered as well.

But I have seen yours and you are still ahead of me. You have some very nice originals

But I may have set a record for finding and buying 3 bush hogs within a 2 week time frame.

I do believe that is an all time record, at least for all GTT Bush Hog owners! And we're all students of the "Bush Hog School", as we all learn more about them & their attachments as time goes by. That is one of my main draws to them....learning more about them.
And you will get a BUNCH of the "I never knew they made garden tractor comments". In fact, they likely will never stop.
