Well I was today picking up a patient, couldn't find his house so I called him. He told me how to get there, and said just look for the Gravely in the front yard, WELLLLLL.......THAT got my attention.

Found the house and low and behold, there sat sat a 1949 Gravely Model L. I HAD to take a look. The hood is missing, the exhaust manifold is broken off, and it has the chain drive starter on it, the owner said it ran 2 years ago. It also has a tiller on the front that looks complete, an extra gearbox for the tiller, a 30" mower, a Culivator, and a Steering Salky.

Said he gave $750 for it, I didn't get a good look at it. But I do have he number and address.

So was he looking to sell it? Not that I need it. Half my collection of gravelys is huddled under the back deck these days. Plus, I'm not driving to Oklahoma any time soon LOL

Cool find, sounds like it could use a little TLC, though.
