While sitting here now, trying to eat my Burger au Fromage, in
the background I'm watching this show about them gathering roadkills
for a biker BBQ.
I don't have a problem with that at all. I've hit a few deer, and not let the good meat
go to waste.

I'm wondering if anyone has any roadkill tales to share, or even better yet, any
GT incidents that ended up being really tasty.

No GT incidents, but my wife clipped a pheasant's head with her minivan one day...being the good ol' girl that she is, she stopped and picked it up! Guess what we had for dinner that night!

Mighty meager meal Steve. I'd have left the head & grabbed the body!:bigrofl::bigrofl::bigrofl::bigrofl:

Not many women would do that, so you got a rare "bird" of your own! My hat's off to her! Never eaten pheasant myself. What's it taste similar to?

I tried duck once....my dog wouldn't eat it either! But then I had NO IDEA how to cook the thing, so no offense to ducks intended! LOL

Smoking anything, can change it dramatically. Don't dismiss pheasant. Easy targets for a good GT driver.

There were actually 2 of them. Not the brightest creatures LOL! I'd have to say that duck is a good approximation of the taste, not quite as greasy though. More like the dark meat on a chicken or wild turkey. I liked it...and it was FREE!
