With the new software and the conversion happening this weekend I wanted to post an update. There have been a lot of new ads posted to the current classifieds section. These will not be carried over to the new software.

There are a few reasons behind it and one of them is that the classifieds section on the current site was supposed to be defunct and we were going to use the forums for the classifieds but we never really followed through with this.

However with the new software we will have a new classifieds system that will also provide the latest ads on the sidebar of the forum's index page. This will help kill two birds with one stone as the biggest complaint with the current classifieds system was that there was no way of telling when new stuff was added without actually looking.

So if you recently added an ad to the classifieds section I apologize and if you are thinking about adding an ad please hold off if you can for another week or so.

George showed me the new site earlier tonight. Some of what he explained I almost understood. Just be patient, and good things will happen.

I think it is going to be awesome. Yeah a few issues at first, but seems a lot simpler once you get into it. George is doing a great job on it.

Looking forward to it. Wish I knew more about computers and how people like George do things to make them work magic.

5 hours and counting. I am just going over a few things to make sure I have everything in order. Haven't decided if I am going to try and take a nap yet as I think it would be a lost cause.

Yes, forumrunner and tapatalk will both be setup with the new software. It will however be a day or two until I will be able to set them up. I can't set them up until the new software is in place of the old, kind of a bummer because I could have had it done already but it will be done.

I agree, I've missed buying things I wanted on ebay that way, woke up about 15 mins. after the bidding had ended.
