Ok, I have to figure this out, because my E20 needs some steering work. I spent a few minutes today and straightened the steer arm on the spindle (it was bent) to take stress off of my steering. two gears on the "ring" gear are marred up and it causes the steering to "click" at times. I can take it out and weld more material to the teeth, and file the teeth, but... is there a source for a new gear??

Thanks Doug, I had actually forgotten about a couple of those places. I had checked electric tractor store first though. Harold doesn't look to have anything either.

You've see this site? IMO the best single source of info for all electric tractors.

Nope, the other one (1/3rd gear), two of the middle teeth are half worn/chipped. I emailed the one other link (3rd down) and he says he should have one and will send me a picture in a day or so. So I am on my way to steering happy. Right now the E20 is down for a needed belt replacement. Only had one belt and sometimes it slips. Went to go back up the mid sized hill to the shop and I had plenty of power, and traction for the tires, but the belt was slipping like crazy... had to get it pushed up the hill some while under power. So the right side tires are elevated and I have the belt off, so hopefully I can get a matched pair of belts this week.

Hoping to get the 42 inch Bolens tube frame blade modified this week to fit the E20 and swap out the mower for that. I have to build a new blade mount to align for the AP56 bracket though. Or cut the Bolens mount to pieces lol.

Good luck Casey, hope he has the part.

Just a q, did you contact Toro? Didn't they sell a version of the E20 for a while?

No Alan, I doubt they would have that part any more. Besides, I have a good lead right now so we will see.

Sawman, I managed to find one already but I am certain there are others that will need the same gear. Thanks.
