Boy,we just had a real sharp little thunder & lightning storm move through here.Luckily it was a fast moving one and didn't hang around. It was raining so hard for a few minutes that you couldn't even see the field on the other side of the river.

We had a storm just miss us here. We got some light rain over the night but I heard some places around me got hammered. We definietly could use the rain though.

Same thing happened here yesterday. Possibility of 3/4 to 1 inch tonight. Maybe more in thunderstorm areas.

We had 2 storms move through this afternoon. They weren't to bad, got a a little over 1/2 inch of rain in a short time. We needed it, it was getting pretty dry around here

I had forgot to post about the storm we had the other week. They had a couple of tornado sightings which is rare for our area and hale larger then golf balls. We only live 6 mile from work right now and we just got the thunderstorm part of it at our place but my little car was parked at work that weekend. The storm happened on friday and I went in to work to get some stuff out of my car saturday morning and didn't even get a mile up the road and it looked like it snowed 2" of green stuff from the leaves of the trees being torn apart from the hail. There are a lot of apartments in this one complex it looks like someone took a gigantic shot gun and peppered the siding.

I got all the stuff I needed out of my car on saturday morning not thinking to look for any damage even after seeing our cable line on the ground. I went in to work the following monday and here it broke the windshield and sunroof on my little car. Good thing is I sold it that day. I knocked $50 off for the broke windshield and $50 off for the sunroof LOL

Severe storm warnings heading our way a few minutes ago, but just as it got close, it petered out. Would liked a shot of rain to settle the dust, but crops are great at this point. Some areas before here got golf ball size hail & 60+ mph winds. Definitely don't need that!
