Here are some pics of my tractor. The number sticker on the chute side was peeling badly, so I removed it. There is no hour meter on this tractor, but my best guess would be somewhere in the 600 to 800 hour range. It was used on John Andretti's team in the 1992 500. My family knows the Andretti's and this tractor was puchased right after the race by them. I wasn't sure if it was used on John's car or a teammates because his dad Aldo bought a twin to this one at the same time and I figured he took Johns, but the starting grid for that year shows John as #8. As the pics show I painted some areas to clean it up a bit about 8 years ago including the flat black on the wheels. I do still have the "smoothie" caps. These are cool tractors, but you may need a two step program...haha.

Sly, I pulled your email from the open. Posting an email like that will lead to untold number of Viagra ads and "can you please help me get my money" emails.

Much safer to use the PM feature.

We have Two Indy 500 Lawn tractors in my Family here, I have a 1988 20 hp Onan Number 71 used at the Speedway in 1988 For Ludwig Hiemwrath... I still use this tractor (with others) on my 21 acre estate here, Been mosty reliable over the years, but last fall: starter, electric  PTO Clutch, and  blade drive belt, all broke within a week. parts alone: 500.00 + in repairs..But good now  around 200 hours, well maintained... Dad next store HAs a 1989 Model 18 hp Briggs powered Indy 500 tractor used at the Speedway in May of 1989, I dont remember the Number on the tractor ,but came from Hemelgarn Racing After May race 1989, It has only 10 hours on it and was never used to mow with. Stored indoors of course. since he has Much larger Mowers to mow with, Kubotas,etc...He has told me He would Sell his Indy 500 Tractor to a good home,So I thought I would post it here.
