Me have broken things?......remember, I have mostly RED tractors! LOL No, I do have some broken stuff, but full size farm tractors. Nothing broken on my GT's, and no pics of past broken GT stuff that I can think of.

 If you allowed items broken by another person but fixed by the new owner/mechanic, I could be in. :confuse:

I could get someone to take a picture of my broken camera, :laughingteeth: but that isn't garden tractor related. :bigrofl:

Alright guys, I know this month was a little off due to the happenings with the site and apparently not too many people break things or take pictures of them LOL.

We will close the nominations tomorrow and then get the voting started. You will have to be patient as with the new software I have to go about things a little differently so just work with me :D

Hi,

This was a couple years ago, but to promote the garden tractor pulling and support the community, we participated in a local Santa parade. My son (age 11) and I cleaned up a couple Moto-mower tractors, put on Sanata toques (hats) and had a blast driving in the parade.

After the parade, we were loading up the tractors and that's when it happened. My son was driving up the ramp as he had done many times before but this time it was colder and the tires lost grip. He was almost on the trailer then started sliding backwards. The tires caught traction on the ground and with the front wheels still on the trailer - what happend next was stunningly fast.

The tractor wheeled over backwards and landed on my son. I tossed the tractor aside and was relieved to find my son was uninjured but very shaken. Now we load our tractors in reverse.

The only realy damage was the steering wheel.

I know it's not much to see. Found a fellow that can weld aluminum and it looks really good.

It's still my favourite tractor.

Enjoy your garden tractors - but don't let your guard down on safety. We were lucky, but I made a mistake that could have gone badly.

Years ago I had a Massey MF7Hydra and did almost the same thing as your son did, only difference is the tractor landed on my foot and broke it.
Now I anchor the ramps to the truck or trailer, before I drive it up, or better yet stand beside the tractor as it goes up the ramps in 1st gear, shut the engine off when it gets all the way on.
