Thanks guy's, This site is awesome! Alot of great information on here and friendly members! (Can't believe the supporter fee is only $20) My fathers neighbor brought this tractor to his house one day and gave it to him. He said his son was getting rid of alot of stuff (scraping) and he was afraid the tractor was going too. He gave us the books he got with it when he bought it new, thats were I am getting the 1967 from, inside one book it says that it is for a 1967 Ford 100 tractor. Well I have a long way to go but it is coming along great, every piece is getting blasted and painted. Rebuilding the engine and transaxle. ( if it has bolts it's coming apart) I'll post more pics as I go along. Untill then keep up the great work on this site!

Check the serial number on the k-241 engine. If it starts with C it is a 1967 engine. A=1965, B=1966, C=1967, D=1968 and E=1969. Past E Kohler had a numbering system for identifying the engine year.

Thanks for becoming a site supporter right off the bat Chris! Yes, GTT truly is the most friendly GT site you can find...bar none! A guy can make his $20 site supporter money back in just a few posts when he needs answers asap! We try to answer fast as lightning, and usually do. I send in an extra "Donation" now & then when I have some spare cash. Usually $5 or so when ity's laying in my Paypal account. I love GTT, and besides the technical stuff, it's a great social site!
PS....not sure where the "Donation" button is at the moment due to the software conversion.

I have a Ford 100 and the engine # is K2410246381C can not make out for sure the vin but think it is 50647028 does this mean I have a 1970? I had it at the Florida Flywheelers show and a former dealer said it is painted wrong to be a 70 as I have the hood white and the rest of the tractor blue, he said it was blue hood and white fenders in 70. I could tell that it was painted the way I have from the factory as it had never been repainted.

Those numbers don't add up to me. You need the engine serial number. There's a service manual under Kohler engines for k91 k181, k241.......... See page 1.3 under general information. There should also be a tractor serial number plate on the bottom left side of the grill housing down by the frame (left when on the seat) .At least that's where they are on the mid sixties jakes to 1970 and jacobsen built fords. I don't no how to get the Ford year off the tractor serial number but someone else might.

I have reread the numbers on Ford 100 and the engine # is C 246351C and I believe the vin is 53067028 the plate is scratched.Wondering what year it is,was sold to me as a 1970,but some at the show said the 70 had a blue hood and mine is white.Either year I still like it. Here are pictures of the 2 plates

I'm guessing 1967 engine. Post some pics of the tractor... My 1967 Jake has an engine serial number- C167281. And there's a web site for jacobsen's where you can identify the year from the tractor serial number. Maybe someone else knows more on the fords.
