If it did, I'm sure it was a mistake... Sorry for your heart palpitations.

I read it early, before you posted this thread Casey, and it said what it does now..... just a couple hours down time.

Casey was already getting a nervous twitch, after just a few hours without GT, he would have started foaming at the mouth, and then the convolutions would kick in. It would NOT be a pretty site.

Death by GT withdraws, even Dr. Phil can't fix that!!!!

I read the announcement about half hour before I posted this... I read it, thought, "January 29th at 11 PM, that's tonight, and not back til the 14th... that's 2 weeks!" Decided I should post a withdrawl thread when I go back in after painting my vice (for my workbench).

Doesn't mean George hadn't fixed the announcement by then, but I had already read it, I didn't have to read it again...

Casey, I think you've already went into shock! You need to start an IV drip immediately. 500cc of of warm 30wt motor oil should pull you through....and also swallow a couple 1/4" ball bearings, plus an aspirin! You'll pull out of this buddy! :bigrofl:

If you go to the site sponsor thread and read Casey's deciphering of George's message, you'll understand how he got it.

I see that now Doug, He saw that the announcement is to run from 1-28-2012 thru 2-14-2012 and must have thought that was how long the site would be down.
