:ditto: to all of the above :iagree:
Congratulations to your Grandson and his proud Grandparents. It takes a proud and brave person to enlist in the military now-adays, but it takes an even prouder and braver one to enlist in the Marines:usa:

Congratulations...I am a member of that club myself. Semper Fi to your Grandson...and to you Congrats!!! Not everyone can make it in that group, in my case we started with 81 and ended with 64. This is not for everyone....There is nothing Glorious about what a Marine has to do everyday...But everyone appreciates what they do, whether they know it or not!

Ducky, as we would have it, no sweat! The threat your Grandson faces is very real, but somewhere the bad guy is sayin..."Please anything, but not more Marines"

As grandparents you and your wife have every right to be very proud of him as do his parents also. Our service men and women devote their younger years to their country knowing the job they have is a dangerous one. I'm also happy to see the general American public being more appreciative of what they do as compared to how they were in the 60's when we returned from Vietnam. Their dedication, and unselfish service which allows us all to rest easily at night is to be commended. Thanks for posting and a special thanks to your grandson.
