I have a buddy that is thinking of getting an LT 133. The only problem that I could see with it is the hood is from a different JD tractor. [the original owner had a mishap hauling the tractor and replaced it with the hood he had on hand, the hood is in good shape]
I just wondered if there may be a place to get both lower and upper hood that is not so costly.
Thanks for any help!!!

Ive seen them on Craigslist but somtimes its just easier and more economical to just get good parts Tractor with decent hood and there kinda cheap hoods most ive seen have cracks in them. But if the tractor works ok Whats a hood ya know

My buddy had an lt 155, let the steering bushing behind the battery get wore out,

The shaft teeth started to skip on the half moon steering gear,

Good machine, but just have to watch that bushing,

:ditto:-- agree with Rocking-One of those hoods with no crack is pretty rare anyway. I brought home a LX 176 with an absolutely perfect hood. First time I opened it to pull the blown Kaw, I busted a 10" piece out of it. After a minute of cussing JD, I removed the latches, mailed them to JD and put on a cracked hood off my LX172. I just hope the dude who engineered that latch isn't building bridges somewhere.:mad2:
