Just cut my first of the broccoli a few minutes ago. Would have gotten some bigger, but I prefer them earlier than too mature. Largest measures 8" across.

That looks pretty good to me,I like broccoli too,we grew it once but never again it was so full of small flys that it was almost impossible to get them all so we just don't grow it anymore.I do agree there more tastier when younger for sure. Our garden was just put in a week ago so going to be awhile before we can reap it's rewards Larry

No pics yet, but cucumbers have been in for a week now. Teresa has a batch of pickles started! Ummm good! Corn has ears started too! Should have some squash soon. Green beans turned out crappy. After planting 3 times, they still just aren't doing good. They weren't the variety I wanted either & don't have near as good a flavor. May end up tilling them in.

First pick of squash came in a couple days ago. Teresa picked 25lb of cucumbers yesterday. More pickles soaking, and 4qts of pickle relish canned.
