That was very nice of you ducky. Not many people would stop to help a stray. I'm glad the rightful owners have him back but in the interim he was in the best of care!

Great story, glad it worked out for the best. My dog of 16 yrs just passed away the other day. Those newfies are kind dogs.

Are you sure you don't want one ?

Al, that's adorable! A golden lab? I can't let my wife see that. We have 2 standard poodles and 2 Tonkinese cats. Enough for now!

I want a dog. Always had dogs growing up, I love most of the bigger breeds.

My wife had always had cats, so we decided to have one of those "Marital Compromises"
She got two Cats.
I get smacked every time I tell that story.

Pretty much every dog I've had since I was a kid was a "dropped" dog that found me. Right now we have 2 house dogs & one outside dog. None of these dogs were asked for, but they ended up here. I'm like ducky....always a soft spot for dogs. I'm not fond of some breeds though. After I divorced in 88, a large almost all white German Shepard showed up. He acted like I raised him from birth the instant he saw me. I was so happy he found me when he did, as he became my best friend, and I needed company. Sadly he ran in front of a propane truck & I lost him. That hurt!
