Well, we finally got 4" of snow last night, and I couldn't wait to plow. Dug all of the miscellaneous items out from behind the tractor, in order to get it out, and wouldn't you know, the battery is dead. :wallbanging: Replaced the battery with another one, and the tractor still won't start. :mad2:I guess the carb in dirty, since the tractor hasn't been run since the Dover Show last August. :confuse: Never the less, I recovered the tractor, place all the miscellaneous items back behind the tractor, and went and got the shovel. The kids and I had the wife's parking spot, the sidewalks, and my parking spot cleaned out in no time. Any other time, I would be mad, but getting to spend some quaulity time with the kids, priceless!! :smile1:

Felt bad for jdelfjunior (Caleb), as he was really looking forward to plowing for the first time. :mecry:He was soo disappointed. It really brought back a lot of childhood memories for me, remembering when I wanted to help my Dad plow the garden each year and him always telling me no, not this year. Thought I'd never get to drive a tractor.

Making up for all of that lost time now, by golly! Can drive a tractor anytime I want to now. If only they'd start when I needed them to. :mad2:

Sorry to hear of the tractor problems Troy. Sounds like you found the silver lining and enjoyed your time with the kids. Thanks for sharing your story.

Yeah, that stinks. Just make it a point to uncover, start, and take a little cruise every couple of weeks. You can use this as the excuse why you are toolin around the neighboorhood every couple of weeks. ;)

Sounds like you made the best of it Troy. Quality time with those you love is just like you said, priceless! Maybe Caleb can help you fix the tractor before the next storm.
