Wow, Don! That's a lot of tedious work, I would not be able to do that!

And I though I had it bad today rotating 150 planer blades. You would have just been getting warmed up. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the positive comments , the 200 grousers are now welded in place and cleaned up. Here is the first photo of the model sitting on the tracks. I still have another 8 hours of work on the tracks but I am pleased how it is turning out so far.

Your project is just crazy neat. I can't think of any other way to put it.
I know your interested in earth moving equipment so I thought you'd be interested in this. A friend asked if I would be interested in operating his Cat 963 track loader. Oh man yes. It's been years since I've run a track loader and they have made huge advances in operator comfort. That is like setting in your living room and working. Just an unbelievable experience. Hope you get to try one some day.

Looks great sitting on there! Do the hydraulic cylinders slide to extend and contract?

Thanks , I love operating any kind of big machinery , it really is fun.The cylinders do all move in and out and the main body swings on bearings from side to side .

I just watched some of your videos, the videos show the details better then the pictures! The cable excavator is probably my favorite that I have seen.
