Looks like I'll get a little seat time tomorrow. Just took these pictures from the front porch. Glad I didn't go to the junk yard. Pretty bad visibility. That isn't wind blown either. Just some good old lake effect.

It passed about an hour ago but we still picked up about 4 or 5 inches. Got our place shoveled out and will plow the sidewalks in the morning.

I got the 1050 out. The blower is still not throwing the snow far, but I hope it will improve after I rebuild it over the summer. I think a plow is need though. The tires didn't slip though so I didn't have as hard of a time as a few weeks ago.

I need to get a plan on how to attack the drive way, but this time I backed the 1050 into the garage so It should be easier to just pull right out.

Came home to about 4" of perfect powder. It was a fun & short lived seat time session.

So, that's what snow looks like!

Weatherman said on the news tonight that we have had a grand total of 5 one hundreths of an inch so far this year here in Kansas City. It would be ok with me to have at least 1 good snowfall.....guess I should be more careful about what I wish for.....

At our old house I always plowed out our neighbors drive. After refusing cash several times he figured if he stood in front of me with a beer in one hand and a gas can in the other that he might get my attention, worked every time:smilewink:.

Thats kinda what I thought too, he's tempting Mother Nature and we all know "Its not nice to fool Mother Nature"

I called the weatherman and ordered a foot of snow and at least 4" of ice. He told me it was on back order.

Yeah, this was our first decent snowfall 4-5 inches. Layer of ice in the middle. So I passed on my little 20" snowthrower and did get the panzer out for the first time w/ the plow. It did really well. I was also glad to see that the spring trip I made worked well, too. It tripped over when I went to come up the bump from the street onto our drive. Otherwise there'd be a chunk of asphalt missing right there.

The only other rig I've ever had to plow snow with was a grizzly atv. I'd say the panzer w/ chains has about the same traction as the atv in 4 wheel (no chains). Maybe just a tad less, though. Got some heavy uphill pushing in trying to clear the last 5 feet on the side of the road which the town plow left behind. We park on the street sometime, too. The big difference between an atv & tractor is that a tractor feels more solid because there's no suspension to be constantly flexing. I thought I'd miss the winch lift, but found that the Panzer lift is actually quicker- you reach down and smack it with your left hand and it's up... or down in a flash.

You can have all that ice down there. I don't even want it around me.
