hey everbody! does anybody use an analog tach on their tractor? i can get the little rectangle digital tachs all day long, however i would rather have a round (2" or so) analog sitting in the dash of my massey 1450. the rectangle tach would just, like, look sooo like dumb:mecry:(as the kids nowadays would say it).
i would like to see what others are using. if there is a trick to convert a 'regular' 2" tach to work on a single. maybe they already work with no modifications? never tried it.
whats say you!

I copied this from the very bottom of the paragraph just before the next item.

Seems a might pricey to me!

This only works with a battery ignition system like the old Kohlers have. If you have a magneto it won't work. I bought this from Kirkengines.com and they cost about $75.

I tried a TinyTach on my Kohler and it was all over the place it was getting interference from the ignition system somewhere.

I bought a digital off e-bay for around $15 shipped. Bought so I can check the low and high rpms for adjusting the carb and checking the gov.
