Does anybody have any experience with rubber tire chains? I have been using steel tire chains on turf tires for traction while clearing snow. However, the steel chains are rough on asphalt sealer. I heard about rubber tire chains and I wonder how well they work. They are quite expensive so I am looking for advice before paying the price. I also wonder if I could replace the chains with an AG tire and more weight to the rear of tractor. I have never used AG tires and I'm not sure how well they work in snow and possibly icy conditions.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I have a set of chains (actually a traction device) that is made of cables. The cross pieces go through little pieces of steel tubing...Bought them at a garage sale.......I haven't tried them, as my tires are just a bit too large. .Anyone tried these?
