Alan that sucks. It happens all the time here. We live on a dirt road and the grader has begun to turn up 2" stone from under the road bed. That's a perfect size to wedge somewhere in your blower. Chances are a plow turned that rock up and hurled it into your driveway. My neighbour got a flyer pack stuck in his walk behind blower. Bent the shaft from the main pulley out to the transmission. He was not happy. At least you managed to salvage it without permanent damage.

Had to mention this, I was clearing the old ladys drive last year, at the edge of the drive she had all this solar lights.

Anyway, we had an early winter, she forgot to remove them , and I forgot they were there,

The little JD185, just made them into little bits onto her lawn, (which we found in the spring)
