It looks like a neat tool, but it doesn't appear to be an Open Source project and since it is free for windows how do they make their money? Advertisements, spyware or some other payload? I'm just leary about anything for windows that doesn't $$$$$

Here's one I've used for several years...... good for registry cleanup, browser history delete.... Started out as Crap Cleaner, but was shortened to CCLeaner some time ago.

CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

They also have a good disk defragmenter: Defraggler http://www.piriform.com/defraggler

Have used CCleaner as well. Good product. If I remember it asks to install other items but give you the option to decline. Always a good idea to read each window during the install.

I have used CCleaner for a good number of years as well. I wants to install the Google toolbar, you just need to uncheck the install. I guess that is how they make some of there money from the free side. Ducky that is very good advice, read and be sure what each window of an install is telling you.
