I hope you guys get enough to get some seat time. It's snowing here now. We're supposed to get 4" or so then it's going to turn to rain and mild up to about +10c or 50f by tomorrow night. I might go out and plow it later but it may not be worth it.

They put up storm warnings for Thursday night and 6 to 10 inch of snow.
Then they revised them to 10 AM Friday and changed again to 2 PM today ( still no snow at 2 PM ) .
There now forecasting 1 to 2 inch.
We have a white covering and the roads are really slick at 6 PM.

You got that right!! The 29 mile drive home (mainly due West) was a doozy, varied from clear, wet pavement to snow covered to slushy, one SUV off the road. And then to top it off I go over the top of a hill (about 30MPH) and on the shoulder a ways ahead is a deer. Never know what way they are gonna go but luckily this girl went back in to the field.

Real happy camper to get home!! Even happier to look up shortly after and see Kathy's headlights in the drive:worshippy1:. Darn nice night to stay home.

I just put away the JD455 . I plowed 3 inches in my driveway and my neighbors driveway and the whole back yard. Just in case it melts by tomorrow morning , ha,ha,ha,ha. It's 11 years old and the first time I ever used it in the dark to see the headlights and taillights and dash lights . It is still snowing so I might have to do it all over again in the morning , GRRRRR , just kidding , I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Know exactly what your talking about.
I spent about a half hour standing in front of the window watching for Marie's headlights to come down the road after she got off work today.

We may have 4 inches and blowing winds. Went out for a while to see how the blower would work. It was fun but cold with the wind chill being what it was.

We got 4.5 " of the white stuff. I got to play with the Bolens 1600H with swnoblower for a little while. I ended up using the snowblower for a plow and turning on the blower when I got to the end of my pass. It was fun finally having some seat time.

We got maybe 1.5" yesterday, so not enough to make it worth making a mess out of the driveway rock.

Another big dissappointment.
We've gotten more salt than snow on the roads this year. That's not an exaggeration.
I guess all of the municipalities don't want to lose their salt budget so they're putting it down regardless.
Can't see a flipping thing from the salt spray... what a waste!

We got four more inches overnight in Gaylord so I got the 5400 out and enjoyed the warmth of the cab and the best part is it is still snowing so could be another plow day tomorrow, ha,ha. Pretty sad when you get my age the most exciting things to do are go to wal-mart and stand by the window waiting for it to snow, LOL. I guess I am lucky that at least two things still get me excited, ha,ha,ha,ha

We also got about 4" of wet snow last night so I plowed it off this morning before work. Only took about 20minutes to plow off the 300ft driveway and the front of the house where we turn the cars. I'm thinking of geting a smaller tractor so I get more seat time. LOL
