Came across this site in my quest for technical manuals for an '86 Cub Cadet 1811 that was given to me. Joined today and already am getting some very helpful info.

Welcome aboard! There is an immense amount of technical knowledge archived on this site, and if you can't find an answer just shout and someone will probably know it.

No pics yet. Plan to take some as I am considering a restoration hobby with the tractor. Not in bad shape except for sitting outside. Thanks for the welcome---already found some good info.

:welcome: to GTTalk.

We love pics of tractors in their original state also. "Survivors in work clothes" have just as much right to have their picture taken as the trailer queens all dressed up for the show.

Don't underestimate the fact you will want before and after pics later too.

Thanks for the intro and the kind words.

Attached some pics of the 1811. The deck is removed and also the side and front cowlings but I have them. Got it running today and it ain't bad for a free tractor.
