Hi, I just got a 42-inch snowthrower for my JD-260 but a recommended item is a manual list assist kit (BM16732) which is no longer offered by John Deere. Does anyone know where I might find one, I'm doing a general internet search now and I haven't come up with anything. I'd probably be interested in an electric lift option, if that's something that's possible and not too expensive.

Thanks,

Paul

Welcome to the forum, Paul. I can't answer your question, hopefully the JD gurus will be along shortly.

Thanks, there's no hurry. I'm thinking the answer will probably be to keep looking and someone out there will have the kit to sell me though the snow thrower looks almost new, JD sells a different model now and I think the new model has plenty of kits and attachments available to fit on any tractor.

Ebay is a good source. Also try wfm's classified section and maybe post a want ad there. Another place is checking with your local JD dealer on the off chance he might have one laying around (it's a long shot, but I have found items at my local JD dealer before that was NLA).
