Got a surprise today, i got an ac 716H pretty much for free couple weeks back,didnt have a tranny but had everything else,put it on craigslist two days ago and a guy called today wanting the engine.Well i had just removed the engine bout a half hour before he got ahold of me,he came over and bought it for 75 bucks so i think i done pretty good lol

it was the a kohler k-341 16 horse, i have a briggs on my simplicity,boy was that engine heavy,by the time i got it loose and off the tractor i felt like i earned that 75 bucks lol, the guy that bought it is a tractor nut too,even knew how much the engine weighed,130 pounds,said hes puttin it in one of his allis tractor so i was happy to hear that

Sounds like you made a great deal. Those Kohlers are a heavy piece of iron. I didn't even try to lift the K321 out of my JD314. I built a hoist to lift it and saved my back. good luck selling the rest of the AC parts.

yeah i wish i wouldve had a hoist lol,theres a few ac guys around here cause there used to be an allis dealership bout 5 miles from my house so people are always needing parts for em
