I brought home 2 more tractors this week. I just couldn't pass them up. The Case just needs a little tuning, cleaning. I got a deck, snowplowblade, weightbox, and a tiller with it. The cub was rode hard and put up wet years ago. It is 95% complete, even has the mower deck. serial number says it is a '63.

Just make sure you build it twice as big as you need then it still will be filled soon.

Good find on the tractors. Wife is wanting me to build a barn to keep my junk (as she calles it) in so she can park in the garage.

My wife would agree with your wife. Should I just tell her she's been parking in the driveway for 30 years, why change now? Probably not a good idea.

Nice finds, The Case looks really solid. I need to enlarge my garage as well. Parking outside is OK in the summer but it's not going to cut it in the winter here.

Well, I got an update on the Case. I get to replace the Onan on it. I am pretty sure it has a broken connecting rod to the piston on the right side. Weird, it had all the power it needed when I drove it around the yard before I bought it. Started right up, sounded good, no smoke. I forgot about a cardinal rule on twin motors....check to see if both exhaust manifolds are hot. I didn't do it. My bad. I got it home, found this out, pulled the plug, it had no compression on that side. I pulled the head off, the piston was all the way out in the cylinder. I then used 1 finger to easily push the piston back into the cylinder about an inch or so. Still, I got a good deal. I found a Vanguard 18 hp v-twin to repower it with. I will take some pics when I do it and post them for ya. The original cub will just have to wait its turn.
