Good to see activity here! Nice looking engine! Is that a Chevy behind it?

Thanks :smile1: Yes that is a Chevy, 62 Impala. Another one of my neglected projects! lol

Rattle-can Rust-oleum semi-gloss. I have used it on other projects with good results.

Fred is working today, as I stopped by coming back from bush hogging around fields. He's got his serious "work shorts" on, so something will be accomplished! :smilewink:

That Impala was the 1st car Fred drove as a kid. His dad still had it, so Fred brought it home. Rare to have your 1st car still!

If you could keep a eye for for a nice/cheap hood that would be great. No aftermarket except fiberglass for the 62 :confuse:

I'll keep an eye open for one! Have no idea what cheap is no days!

Is she ticklish? Probably feels good getting a bath!

I kinda have my pictures out of order so I will try and upload a few that I have taken over the months.

Orignal engine had some issues so I planned on using a 16hp Kohler I had laying around. 16hp 140? Why not :orangecool:
