Alternator is installed & working great! I still don't have that new belt, but I have my "link belt" for just such times. I did goof & cut my adjustment arm too short to allow for full adjustment, so I'll have to re-do that.

Video proof!

Very nice GT there. That thing looks like a "HOSS" love AC's of any size. My dad has been an Allis guy for years he's currently got a, D-14, D-17, and a 220. Which by the way the 220 is for sale if anyone mught be interested. Good work on everything you've done so far sounds like it'll be tip top shape in no time.

Looking and sounding good Daniel. You will have it mechanicly preserved soon and ready for a full cosmetic restore in the near future. How does it feel to have 2 running 620/720 size AC's? Dave

Thanks Dave, but I "borrowed" the fuel pump off the 720 to get the 620 going. A rebuild kit for my other mechanical pump is over $60, so I may go vacuum pump on one of them. I seen a 720 covered beside a garage today. Had to stop & ask, but he is repairing it for someone. :-(

Picked up my new alternator belt for the 620 today. It's cute as a button! My hands may be large, but this belt is tiny. My parts guy said he thought it was for a vacuum cleaner beater head! :bigrofl:

I was thinking sewing machine myself. Daniel, the alternator is a neat idea, saves a lot of headache on that machine I bet.

I've often wondered why those small length belts weren't notched. Most of the time they run on Sheaves 2 inches in diameter and under.

Not updated in a while. The 620 runs like a champ, and I put it to tiller duty in my garden this spring. Not done anything else to the 620 really, but there will be a change when time allows.
Just a general pic:

Now for the upcoming change. New to me shoes! And bigguns! Same size as OE tires, but look so impressive! Just paid $44 each for these. Came off a Ditch Witch. Still wet from washing them.

Daniel, What are you going to do with the tires that were on the 620?

Daniel, What are you going to do with the tires that were on the 620?

Intended to put them on ebay. They are still on the rims. The 720 is becoming a parts tractor to keep the 620 going as long as "I" keep going, and the 720 rims were the OE widest ones and it's tires were badly cracked. The 620 rims are a couple inches narrower, but the tires look great on them, and they have only a few tiny dry cracks.
