its Dec. 31 2011 and its 58 deg. out side as i type this and i have a cold and cant enjoy it . 58 deg. in Missouri on the 31 of Dec. crazy .

While it is nice to get warm temps in the winter to me it is a bit scary when it starts happening to extremes and more often than in the past. It makes me wonder if climate change, with all it's challenges, is becoming a reality that we can no longer afford to ignore.

I wouldn't get over excited about climate changes. 1973, joplin MO went went inner tubing a Spring River in Feb. It was 78 degrees. It had just snowed the week or so before.. So I don't get real worried over climate changes. Posted Image

Yep, took a nice ride on the Harley with my wife today. Had leather on, half gloves, no chaps, no helmet 'till we hit Maryland line. Very enjoyable considering it's New Years Eve.

ditto: Rode over to AL with the club this morning and then afternoon we rode the Polar Bear route and finalize plans for tomorrow. I don't think it is going to be much of a Polar Bear ride.

Left Feb here in Oklahoma one town just north of here went from a -22 to 78 in a week!!!! That's a 100 degree change in a week.
