I want to. He's got plows, harrows, 3pt tiller, mowers, blades, he wants to get rid of it to make room in his barn. I think I'll do allright, but he wants to kind of package it all with the two tractors. I'm more interested in the implements, but I'll buy the tractor if it can get me the mowers and stuff for a good price. Can you tell me what this tractor is worth, if its worth anything?

I went to the sellers today. I used all my charm, but he would not separate any more implements. He insisted on selling them with the tractors. He said he needed the implements to package with the tractors to get rid of them. He offered a good deal on all the stuff I wanted, but I couldn't allow myself to go overbudget and get a tractor I didn't need.

Good news is he did sell me a sickle mower. It's a roper. It needs the pitman arm and to have the shoe welded back on. But other than that it looks to be in excellent condition. Cost me 40 bucks.

Thanks for your help everyone.

You did great on the mower! :worshippy1:
If you are done "picking" and you don't have anyone else in mind for the other stuff how about passing along the info so other GTT members can have a chance? It's too far for me but there are others here close enough and they could be interested.

I'm on the fence with this, because I still feel I have a shot of getting what I need out of the lot. If anyone in my area is willing to partner on a sale so they can get what they want and I get what I want, send me a private message.

PS: be forewarned, to get all of it, its extremely likely the two tractors he's selling will have to be purchased

What kind of price is he wanting on the rest?

Man it sounds like a huge bargain. Most likely an SS16 & a GT16 pair of tractors. Then the attachments....a deal!

The implements look to be in excellent condition, and inexpensive. He just wouldn't sell them separately! The tractors look good, but at best need tuneups to run properly. The GT 16 hasn't ran in 6 years.

I just couldn't pull the trigger and get another tractor to get the implements. I have a limited budget for my machinery. I really only wanted a plow and the 6hp 3pt tiller. If any of you guys end up getting this equipment, I would be thankful to buy those two implements if you didn't need them.
