Now the real fun begins! Just started the disassembly this morning for the refurb. This will be a working tractor for the garden so it wont be a prefect restoration just a refurbish.
Gonna need to redo the PTO linkage:

Looks like a nice 109 to me. My 149 had a battery box that looked that.

I had the same problem with my 149. I ended up making a new box for it.

Nice looking Cub. Lots of potential there. Might've had a leaky battery at one time.

How'd you get it into the garage without anyone seeing you? :D

That's pretty much how I intend to repair mine.

Wife was at work. She rarely complains about my hobbies....keeps me out of her hair.

We've been married over 27 years, if she ain't used to me by now there's no hope of it happening.

I just repaired the battery box on my 109 yesterday, it wasn't quite as bad as yours. I had to weld a couple of washers wher the bolt holes used to be.
My wife is pretty good about my addiction too, keeps me out of her hair. I started my own checking account just for my habbit, that way I don't feel like I have to ask permission!! Good luck on the 109!
