That tractor is a 1969-1972 model going by features it has and should have a Ross steering box on it but someone engineered a tiller steer on it.I have a box and steering wheel if you are interested.

That's what I was thinking when I seen the pics, that someone had installed the tiller steer, in this case I'd reinstall a steering wheel and gearbox, not a bad looking PK, congrats on your tractor.

This is my 72 PK. Needs lots of TLC and hard work but it will give me something to do this winter. Like I need more to do. lol. That was a 4 foot snow blade, somebode made it into a 6 foot. I'll leave it that way for now and see if it can handle it.

B Humphrey, take some pix of that head when done and what was done to it. I've heard they can even make a new one from machined aluminum, like a rodder. This gonna have diff kind of valves then and be hopped up a little or stock? Those engines seemed nice for some, but the heads on many went bad and have seen lots of parts for them, cept  the heads. Would be neat to know you can save one if you had to.  Can you mention the cost???  Might be the hold-back for many.

My latest PK is really badged a Snapper, but we know it is a PK. Has hydro, my first in PK, and big snow brush, and the quick-hitch for front mount attachments.

Just got this 1980 1614 power king this week. Have the blade and mower deck with three point hitch. Pleasently surprised, what a power house! Thought the White gt 180 with blade was my work horse but believe it's  pushed back aways. Now if I can get use to the clutch.pk1.jpg pk2.jpg pk3.jpg
