I have a cub 100 that I have built to pull in a 12hp stock class. I have modifield/restored it for pulling with a few mods but want to keep it basically stock. What I would like to do is lower the front with a stock axle in the stock location. I have a set of wideframe cub spindles and it looks like I can relocate the spindle higher on the arm. Has anyone used a wideframe cub axle under a narrow frame and done this mod ? Any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Its a lot easier to just use smaller diameter wheels and tires.

You can make a custom spindle pretty easy if you have a welder. I think I have a photo of one somewhere.
