Hi guys, I found a good deal listed on Craigslist. It was parked 5 years ago and needs some care to revive.

I live in the Seattle, WA area and had to take the ferry boat to a local island to get this tractor.

Boy that's a beast of a machine. Great find, hope it resurrects easily for you.

Thought it may be somewhat intriguing for the mid-West folks to see a slice of Seattle and what it takes to pick up a tractor in this area.

Congrats and welcome to the Case family.
Cool looking country you've got up there. I've never had to bring a life jacket pickin tractors.
Was the return fare more expensive? Does the ferry charge by the axle?

Thank you! Ferry fare carries by route distance. I paid more because of the trailer. It is an under 30' round trip fare of $29.00. I don't own a pickup truck yet and didn't want to borrow one to save $10 dollars. Even with ferry, it was a great deal as got the tractor for an excellent price.

Did you get the head shroud tin with it? If not, you must get hold of a pair.

I saw that too, The seller says he has them but couldn't find them when I picked up the tractor. He was confident that he would find them and get them to me. I will wait and see.

Nice tractor! I used to fly out there once a month in the mid and late 90s. I had customers in Bellingham and Abbotsford BC. Didnt spend much time in Seattle mostly Bellingham. Beutiful country out there. Only problem was it would take me two weeks to dry out after a visit :D

I agree that it can be a bit rainy, but in reality it rains less here than other places. The real issue is that there is a cloud cover much of the time.

Also, I was born and raised in Bellingham. It is a really great place to live.

Like this one?

Just kidding, I also love the look of those 16" wheels on the case tractors. May find one someday, but I have enough "projects" for now.
