Yesterday my garden was dry enough to spread the compost pile, but too wet to plow.  Today it's a sog-fest, as it's been raining all day long.  Glad she got to do her first plow!

Now she'll be wanting to borrow the tractor more often! Good to see her out plowing!

I talked with her afterward, she seemed to have really mixed emotions.  She was happy she'd done it, but disappointed that she hadn't been able to work the "Armstrong" lift.  I also think the roar of the engine at full speed really shook her confidence, and while I encouraged her to drive around the yard for 15 minutes or so before we started plowing, she still hadn't quite grasped the concept of the hydro speed lever, she just thought it was a forward/reverse lever.  I know she's over 80 though, so I'm impressed she wanted to do it.

Kudos for making her day! She'll be bragging about how she plowed her own garden!

That was awful nice of you to let her use your MF.

You lucky people down there, getting to play in the dirt already. Geez.
